About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials. Monitor schedules and adjust resources to meet customer and operational needs. Collaborate with drivers and plant personnel to resolve issues quickly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and performance metrics. Manage two direct reports and drive continuous improvement in safety, service, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and leadership capabilities to manage and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in dispatch systems and technology for scheduling and tracking.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a related industry, combined with thorough knowledge of aggregates or construction materials, is required.
  • Strong leadership abilities with clear, concise, and respectful communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionally present information, responding effectively to questions.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs, JWS, and SAP systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or additional training preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish; customer service and sales experience preferred.
