About The Position

The Dispatch Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the Transportation Department by maintaining accurate driver route records, filing reports, and handling internal and external communications. This role ensures smooth logistics operations through timely reporting, effective coordination, and the use of tools like Microsoft Office and Roadnet software. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the Dispatch Coordinator is a key contributor to the efficiency and compliance of daily transportation activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of driver routes.
  • File weekly, monthly, and quarterly transportation reports with precision and organization.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organize workload to ensure all assigned tasks are completed within established timeframes.
  • Maintain and manage efficient physical and digital filing systems.
  • Generate and interpret reports using Road net software.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support transportation operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, senior management, and external customers.
