Requirements

Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or transportation are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Execute the dispatch function by providing support to drivers and customers, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer requests, specifications, and operational needs.
Prepare daily dispatch plans and communicate schedules effectively to drivers and relevant teams.
Monitor ongoing deliveries and address any issues or delays promptly to maintain service levels.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and customer interactions.
Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and improve overall efficiency.
Utilize dispatch software and technology to streamline operations and ensure data accuracy.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving dispatch-related concerns professionally.
