Disney Platform Distribution Operations Intern, Summer 2026
About The Position
About the Role & Program: Platform Distribution Operations develops and supports the distribution of products and services that create value for The Walt Disney Company, our partners, and our fans. As part of the Platform Distribution team within Disney’s Shared Services, we provide product strategy, product implementation, project management, content delivery execution, event management, and sales support on behalf of The Walt Disney Company for linear and digital products, content and transactional sales with existing and emerging global distribution partners. The team also supports the rollout and expansion of Disney+, ESPN+, Star, Hotstar and Hulu. As our Intern, you will work in our Burbank office . You will collaborate closely with Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology and various operations teams within TWDC and will report to the Senior Business Analyst, Platform Distribution Operations. By the end of the internship, the intern will have gained hands-on experience in content distribution operations, developed advanced Excel and data analysis skills, and built a professional network within The Walt Disney Company.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to complete assignments and projects efficiently
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship, June 2026 – August 2026.
- Fully available from Monday – Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area.

- Major or previous coursework in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or other related major preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the monetization of TWDC content through accurate creation and timely delivery of product availability windows (or “product avails”) to domestic and global transactional partners.
- Be responsible for multiple facets of transactional avails including but not limited to aggregating and securing information, data entry and validating distribution rights, creation and publication of avails, and interfacing with production, transactional partners, technology teams and vendors.
- Identify and present potential AI solutions into current business processes.
