About The Position

About the Role & Program: The Disney Platform Distribution group sells and licenses Disney-owned content to consumers and distribution partners around the globe. As our intern, you will assist with the go-to-market and content licensing strategies for FAST (Free ad-supported TV) platforms and identify other growth opportunities. This role includes conducting research on viewing behaviors, gathering competitive insights, and identifying trends that influence audience engagement. Additionally, the intern will help evaluate and recommend TV series with strong potential to drive performance and expand reach on 3rd party platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong inter-personal, organizational, presentation, writing, relationship building, collaboration, customer service.
  • Strong Excel and Data Analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Able to see tasks through to completion.
  • Current junior or senior level student
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • This internship is a full-time commitment from June 2026-August 2026.
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Nice To Haves

  • Earning a degree in business, media studies, or related field is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping FAST content licensing strategies by analyzing metrics including audience viewing patterns, performance, and emerging engagement trends.
  • Research competitor programming and release schedules across various platforms to identify opportunities for strategic alignment and content synergy in FAST.
  • Compile daily/monthly viewership data of licensed content from our 3rd party partners to transform into actionable insights.
  • Evaluate Disney-owned TV series to recommend new licensing opportunities on FAST platforms and assess the performance of existing licenses to inform ongoing decisions.
