Our affiliated brands include Cancos, UMI/Opustone, and Bell Cabinetry. Position Summary: The FP&A Intern will support the Corporate Finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role provides hands-on exposure to financial modeling, management reporting, and data analysis while working closely with FP&A, Accounting, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas); interest in financial modeling.
- Basic understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or internship experience in finance or accounting.
- Exposure to Excel, Power Query, or financial reporting tools.
- Interest in corporate finance, FP&A, or data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
- Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Help update financial models and income statement forecasts.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and summarize trends to support management decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Support data validation and reporting using Excel and Power BI.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams on reporting accuracy.
