Are you ready to go beyond? Off-Shift Schedule is Monday - Thursday 2 PM - 12:30 AM The Pratt & Whitney Columbus Forge Module Center is looking for a Disk Maintenance Supervisor Off Shift . The Disk Maintenance Senior Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair equipment in the manufacturing shop. Supervise and direct the special project and support team; work with Operations, support reliability efforts by providing hands-on and involved technical support, training, and overall mentorship to the plant operations Be the primary interface with operations to help and lead hands-on troubleshooting and formulate/implement solutions via Lean initiatives; lead implementation of Mistake proofing changes to maintain/increase uptime at the sites Participate in best practice sharing and standardization of 6S and TPM projects Create and communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) on new process and ensure training for Maintenance personnel. Support other engineering projects with functional specification development and resource coordination to meet schedule and cost needs Demonstrate discipline and rigor around documenting all changes using Pratt & Whitney’s standard Management of Change (MOC) process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing operations, machine maintenance, quality or related industrial environment or an Associate's Degree and 4 or more years of experience in a manufacturing operations, machine maintenance, quality or related industrial environment
  • In absence of a degree, High School diploma or equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in a manufacturing operations, machine maintenance, quality or related industrial environment
  • Experience in a supervisory/team lead capacity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Nice To Haves

  • STEM degree
  • Experience maintaining logistic controls
  • Understanding of CORE/Lean manufacturing tools and concepts
  • SAP user experience
