About The Position

The Dish position plays a crucial role in maintaining the heart of our kitchen operations. They ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen equipment, tools, and spaces while supporting overall kitchen efficiency. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous dish experience preferred.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
  • Organization Master: Maintains clean, efficient workspace.
  • Team Player: Works effectively with kitchen and service teams.
  • Detail Oriented: Ensures thorough cleaning of all items.
  • Multi-tasker: Handles multiple priorities while maintaining quality.
  • Safety Champion: Follows proper chemical and equipment safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain our industrial dish machine efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize all dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and additional items as assigned.
  • Maintain organized dish areas and storage systems.
  • Support kitchen prep tasks as needed.
  • Monitor chemical levels and cleaning supply inventory.
  • Follow proper chemical safety procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit and surrounding areas.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles.
  • Support kitchen team during peak service periods.
  • Monitor equipment operation and report maintenance needs.
  • Practice proper safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Execute opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Participate in training and knowledge development programs.
  • Be ready and willing to help with other kitchen duties as needed.
  • Spend up to 16 hours per year volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same.
