About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment. This role ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards and health regulations. A reliable and efficient dishwasher helps maintain smooth kitchen operations and contributes to a positive guest experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16 years of age.
  • Good communication, reliability and punctuality.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Entry level position, prior restaurant experience is not required to function efficiently in this role.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of APM marina services and amenities.
  • Guest relation skills which allow calm, effective, polite and professional resolution of guest problems or concerns.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in fire extinguisher operation.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in ISO/EMS awareness.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in employee orientation.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazard communication.
  • Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazardous materials response/respiratory protection.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area and kitchen workspaces.
  • Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas and ensure proper disposal.
  • Assist with basic kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines according to state and company standards.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to company policies, including attendance, safety, and professionalism.
  • Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
