The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the resort kitchens. This position will clean and sanitize the kitchen equipment, dining ware, and food preparation areas, as well as dispose of waste. Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to: Ensures all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Develop and implement strategies for stewarding area that are aligned with food and beverage objectives. Maintaining a clean, sanitized and safe working environment in the F&B areas. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitizing of all dishware, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment, kitchen surfaces, and floors throughout the outlet . Empty, wash, and return trash bins, along with all cardboard boxes that need to be broken down for recycling. Keep wash area and mop closets clean and organized. Pitch in to help with special and deep cleaning projects. Manage waste receptacles throughout all BOH areas. Monitor and control chemical consumption and notify managers when running low. Assist in aiding with training of new employees, teaching them the correct and proper way, under guidelines and SOP’s. Participating in daily power-up’s meetings. Team members must adhere to Resorts World Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook. Addressing any major odors and safety issues, as it relates to broken glassware and spills in a prompt manner. Take corrective action and notifying management of any issues with the facility, equipment, employee issues or concerns, and any safety hazards. Maintaining the proper operation of cleaning equipment/dish machines daily. Other duties as assigned.
