About The Position

Come join our awesome team as a Part-Time Dishwasher at Gulf Coast Village. We're offering a great work environment and a flexible schedule! Gulf Coast Village is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization. Schedule: Working 25 hours per pay period with working 5-hour shifts, working hours from 2pm to 8:00pm, 3 to 4 days a week, preferably Saturday thru Wednesday, but looking for flexibility. Requirements

• Maintain ServSafe Certification
• Able to meet the requirements identified in the Essential Functions.
• Ability to pass drug, criminal and employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and cleans the dining room, maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
• Assures timely meal delivery and plate preparation.
• Must be available to work flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekend.
• Provides dining service to Residents, guests and family members as needed.
• Busses soiled dishes for care center and AL dining areas
• Prepares trays and serves food according to menus and following therapeutic diet orders.
• Follows all policies and procedures relating to food service to meet or exceed community standards.
• Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Keeps work areas clean and maintains sanitary conditions.
• Maintains all side stations and dining areas using the “clean as you go” policy.
• Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Restocks supplies as needed.
