Dishwashers are a vital part of the total quality dining service experience in our community. Dishwashers assist the dining staff by delivering food carts and trays to specific areas as directed. Dishwashers assist with thorough cleaning of dishware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, exceeding sanitation standards. Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of supply areas, kitchen and dining areas, and all kitchen equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively to staff, residents, families, and community members
  • Must be empathetic, energetic and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior population
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • All applicants must complete and pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening

Responsibilities

  • delivering food carts and trays to specific areas as directed
  • thorough cleaning of dishware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, exceeding sanitation standards
  • maintaining the cleanliness of supply areas, kitchen and dining areas, and all kitchen equipment
