About The Position

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dishware, pots, and pans, and cooking utensils, etc., using a machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.

Requirements

  • Prior dishwashing or kitchen work in food service.
  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
  • Positive attitude and neat appearance.
  • Must speak and understand English.
  • Attend all Training both for Food and Beverage department and within the venue.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good attitude required.
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

  • Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
  • This position requires standing, working with hot water, steam, bending, stooping and lifting up to 45 lbs. substantial standing and walking.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, pantry and refrigerators.
  • Sweep or scrub floors.
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
  • Must take direction well.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area.
  • Position requires the ability to work at all Legends Global facilities in Wichita and Andover.
  • Follow rules and regulations of Food and Beverage team.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reports to Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in appropriate uniform, for assigned location.
  • Follows all rules and regulations which apply to Food and Beverage.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
