About The Position

Chandler Place Independent Living is looking to add a Dishwasher to our team. Our Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. The Dishwasher is also responsible for janitorial duties in various dining services areas such as Dining Room, Bistro and other areas associated as a Dining Activity. Join our dynamic team with this exciting Part-Time opportunity on day shift! The Shift Schedule will require a few weekdays and every other weekend from 11AM to 7PM. Requirements

Work experience as a Dishwasher or on Wait Staff
Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
Time management skills
Attention to detail and sanitation rules
Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings

Nice To Haves

High school diploma is a plus

Responsibilities

Load and unload dishwashing machines
Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary.
Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.
