Hope Valley Country Club, located in Durham, North Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Dishwashers. Founded in 1926, Hope Valley is an elite private club featuring a classic Donald Ross designed golf course, state-of-the-art tennis facility, resort-style pool complex, and a spacious, welcoming clubhouse offering its members first-class recreation, dining, and programming. Hope Valley is ideally situated in the heart of one of Southeast’s most vibrant, exciting areas.
Requirements
- Prior dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred, not required—we will train
- Consistent attendance, on time and team-oriented
- Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays as club events require
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dish machine and 3-compartment sink
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish pit and back-of-house work areas
- Take out trash/compost/recycling; sweep and mop floors; break down boxes
- Restock clean wares to stations; assist with banquet breakdowns and setups
- Follow food safety and chemical handling procedures (ServSafe standards)
- Support basic prep and housekeeping tasks as directed by chefs
- Communicate equipment or supply issues promptly
