About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Steward/Dishwasher to join our busy kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen by washing dishes, pots and pans and keeping the kitchen organized.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous kitchen or stewarding experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organized by sweeping, mopping and taking out the trash.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
