Your work helps support every department in Nutrition Services and keeps operations flowing day after day. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is: Reliable, hardworking, and able to stay on task Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks Detail-oriented and committed to cleaning and safety standards Able to lift, bend, and be on your feet throughout the shift A team player with a positive attitude Experienced in food service or sanitation (preferred, not ) Able to follow instructions and work independently when needed Willing to complete Food Handler or ServSafe certification within 6 months What You’ll Be Doing As a Dishwasher/Sanitation Technician, your responsibilities include: Operating commercial dish machines and hand-washing equipment Sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and meal service items Maintaining a clean, organized dish room and work area Breaking down, cleaning, and reassembling dish machines and equipment Keeping trash, recycling, and compost areas cleaned and emptied Stocking clean dishes and serviceware for kitchen and trayline teams Following strict food safety and sanitation practices Assisting with general kitchen cleaning as needed Every clean tray, pan, and utensil you handle directly contributes to safe, dependable meal service for patients and staff.
