About The Position

Under the direction of the F&B Manager, this position will serve, clean, and prepare food and complete other related tasks with emphasis on food preparation and on independent work. This position is also responsible for cleaning dishes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of food production and menu planning
  • Knowledge and commitment to use proper sanitation and food preparation procedures as outlined in Federal and State agencies.
  • Commitment to professionalism, to include optimal verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English.
  • Organized and attentive to details
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to complete the 90 day Introductory Period in consecutive days as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of all aspects of food production, presentation and service.
  • Must be able to cook and prepare a variety of food products according to food handlers guidelines including meats, vegetables, sauces and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to daily prep list.
  • Must understand and comply with our standards for portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and all other policies and procedures
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Be able to perform repetitive tasks and be able to adapt to changing procedures and responsibilities.
  • Obtain stock from, and return to, refrigerators and storeroom.
  • Properly wrap label and store leftover food as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area buy keeping the dish room and equipment clean and organized at all times in full accordance with State and Federal Health regulations.
  • Responsible for promptly reporting any Equipment and or food quality problems to management
  • Responsible for washing and cleaning of tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
  • Responsible for completing opening and closing procedures assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Must follow schedules and assignments precisely.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by F&B Management.
