About The Position
The Dish Tech position at Ruby Slipper & Ruby Sunshine is for an all-day brunch concept that operates only for breakfast and lunch. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish room. Responsibilities include washing and cleaning all tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, as well as operating and maintaining the dish machine. The company promotes a "Days Only" work schedule, allowing employees to be home for dinner.
Requirements
- A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
- No restaurant experience needed
- Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
- Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
- Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
- Load, run, and unload dish machine
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
- Maintain all safety standards
