Position Summary The Dish Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and food preparation areas within a fast-paced arena kitchen environment. This role also provides leadership and oversight to the dishwashing and stewarding team, ensuring efficiency, safety, and consistency during high-volume events. This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00-$24.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until May 1, 2026. Requirements

Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere helpful.
High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
Utilizes and implements M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning.
Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the stewarding team during events and prep periods
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure proper coverage during peak service times
Ensure all sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards (including HACCP) are followed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, workstations, and waste areas
Assist with training new dishwashers on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
Support kitchen staff with basic prep, restocking, or breakdown as needed
Coordinate trash removal and recycling in accordance with arena policies
