The Discipline Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating detailed logic-tied, resource-loaded schedules for both outage and online work activities. This role involves integrating various types of work, such as surveillance, preventive, corrective, and modification-related tasks, into executable schedules aligned with approved scope and station priorities. The scheduler will utilize Primavera P6 or similar tools to build and maintain schedule logic, work windows, milestones, constraints, and activity sequencing. Coordination with multiple departments including planners, engineers, maintenance, operations, projects, radiation protection, supply chain, and vendors is crucial to ensure schedule accuracy and cross-functional alignment. Key duties include reviewing work orders, validating resource loading, identifying schedule conflicts and restraints, and supporting the development of various schedule governance tools. During outage execution, the scheduler will update schedules to reflect actual progress, emergent scope, and revised priorities, and support daily/shiftly turnovers. The role also involves performing schedule analysis for path management, recovery planning, and contingency development, participating in integrated schedule reviews, and ensuring compliance with Technical Specifications, shutdown risk, and ALARA considerations. Continuous improvement activities, such as outage critiques and lessons learned, are also part of the role, along with potential Emergency Response Organization and execution assignments.
