About The Position

The Disbursement Agent is responsible for ensuring the appropriate distribution of funds for construction projects by working directly with lenders, borrowers, and general contractors. This role involves coordinating inspections, verifying completion percentages through documentation, collecting invoices and lien waivers, handling title endorsements if applicable, obtaining owner authorization for disbursements, and coordinating with lenders on fund releases.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize workload.
Flexible disposition to work effectively with different personality types.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
1-2 years' experience in customer service, accounts payable/receivable, or administrative support.
Experience in coordinating and scheduling.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with loan servicing and lending preferred.
Experience in construction, remediation, or renovation is highly preferred.
