Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is one of the largest human services providers in California that operates a variety of programs to serve the poor and strives to find permanent solutions to crisis situations by offering clients the tools and resources needed to achieve greater self-reliance and stability in their lives. The person in this role will be working in coordination with the Long-Term Recovery Groups (LTRG) in Los Angeles County, the Disaster Recovery Case Manager is responsible for providing case management support and referrals to survivors of the California Wildfires and Straight-line Winds (DR-4856-CA) aimed at assisting them to rebuild their homes and lives. Specifically, the employee will offer guidance in the development implementation and monitoring of individualized opportunity plans; assist in determining the types of financial support available, facilitate credit counseling and education, aid in locating and accessing community resources; and helping to identify and overcome any barriers the clients may face in accessing services and achieving goals.
