Sample Supports is looking for Host Home Providers to share their home with adults with disabilities. This is a unique career where you open your home to provide care to adults in need. Becoming a Host Home Provider allows for a flexible career that gives back to the community. This individual is looking for someone who has ranch experience. Sample Supports will match an individual in services with you based on the compatibility of you, your family, and your home environment. No two Host Homes look alike and we support a diverse set of people with varying needs. We welcome Host Home Providers of all experience levels that have at least one private bedroom available in their owned or rented home. People who have experience with disabilities and/or caring for adults that are aging either in their own families or professionally fit this role organically. It helps us build well-balanced teams and match people with roles where they can thrive. Host Home Providers are independent contractors with us and receive competitive typically tax-free payments based on the difficulty of care required for the person. Needs of people in our program may include help with activities of daily living, maintaining schedules/routines, and managing challenging behaviors. Sample Supports provides comprehensive training and certifications plus specific training to the individual in care. Our residential team is on-call 24/7 to support you as needed. To learn more about becoming a Host Home Provider visit www.samplesupports.com/host-homes.html Sample Supports will provide: General training on caregiving and the needs of individuals with disabilities Trauma-informed and social emotional care responses First-aid, CPR, and general safety trainings for all members of the household QMAP (medication administration) training and certification Person-centered training based on the person in care Integrated and adaptive behavior support plans Crisis intervention and emergency response planning 24/7 on-call support Support team of expert clinicians to provide in-home and community-based training as needed Up to 30 hours/week of supplemental programming for the individual if needed Trained respite providers and proactive respite scheduling support Dream Project - We're excited about this! 10 Year Anniversary Trips
