About The Position
Seeking an experienced male caregiver who can help a male client.. Must be able to provide baths daily. Other duties include meal prep and laundry. This position is part-time . As a Caregiver for the Elderly, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will utilize your core skills in long-term care and personal care to assist residents with daily activities and maintain a safe living environment. Requirements
- Proven experience in long-term care and home & community care
- Strong personal care skills, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Familiarity with first aid and emergency response protocols
- Experience in assisted living and memory care settings
- Knowledge of resident's rights and vital signs monitoring
- Ability to work effectively with seniors, including those with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's disease
- Competence in meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment
Responsibilities
- Personal Care (ADLs)
- Showering, Personal care and grooming, Monitoring Mobility Dressing
- Housekeeping: cleaning
- Meal preparation, Nutrition and clean up
- Follow plan of care
- Communicate professionally with families and your team
- Other duties as assigned
- Aiding with activities of daily living
- Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
- Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
- Light housekeeping
- Providing companionship
