About The Position

The Learning Experience of Horizon West is seeking a passionate Child Care Director to join our preschool family and help create a nurturing, fun, and inspiring environment for our little learners! We’re looking for someone who is a dynamic leader with a passion for early childhood education, who has a talent for inspiring a team of dedicated educators with enthusiasm and vision and believes in the power of creating a positive impact on children, their families, and the communities of Horizon West and Winter Garden. What You’ll Bring: Leadership experience in early childhood education Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with families, staff and the community Excellent communication and organizational skills Exceptional customer service skills A passion for creating a positive and engaging preschool experience Business and enrollment management expertise

Requirements

• Three or more years of child care and daycare center leadership/management experience
• State specific Administrative or Director credential, and any other state specific guidelines for the role
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the preschool

• Manage enrollment, family relations, and community events

• Ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations for DCF, VPK and TLE
