Your Role: As director of one of our Tumor Immunology Research teams, you will lead a passionate team of in vitro scientists dedicated to driving drug discovery projects from target selection through to preclinical development. The role integrates sound expertise in science and drug discovery within Tumor Immunology and T cell engagers with a vision of the field as you will act as strong discussion partner for steering the strategic direction of our Tumor Immunology pipeline. This role is reporting into the Head of Tumor Immunology Research and located in Billerica, MA, US.

Requirements

You have an extensive background in NBE modalities, in particular working experience with T cell engagers.
You have deep expertise in tumor immunology drug discovery, translational research, and preparing documentation for regulatory health authorities. You have a proven history of advancing assets from target concept to IND application.
You possess more than 5 years of leadership experience, demonstrating a successful track record in mentoring and team development.
You hold a PhD or another advanced degree in Immunology, Oncology, Cancer Biology, or a related field, with over 8 years of industry experience.

You are proficient in designing, executing, and interpreting in vitro assays for drug discovery, with strong knowledge in tumor models and pharmacology experiments.

Responsibilities

Engage and guide your team in designing and executing impactful in vitro experiments that empower data-informed project decisions and provide data packages supporting global regulatory filings.
Effectively lead drug discovery teams, based on strong cross-functional partnerships across research.
Drive the proposal and assessment of novel targets and initiate new projects.
Act as the research lead for development projects, enabling transition from discovery to clinical development and providing preclinical support through development stages.
Inspire and develop scientists within your team, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and continuous learning.
Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions, scientific publications, and presentations.
Evaluate external assets, conduct due diligences.
Lead or contribute to scientific collaborations.
