The Difference You Make: The Director, Treasury provides leadership, direction and is a recognized subject matter expert in one or more of the following processes (Capital Planning and Recovery & Resolution (RRP)). The incumbent develops and implements complex solutions to Capital Management and Recovery and Resolution department priorities. Primary skills for the candidate to be successful in this role include the ability to: (i) distill complex regulatory requirements and related updates / enhancements into well-written and detailed narratives within defined timeframes, (ii) balance numerous workstreams in driving effective completion of key deliverables. Identify and implement process and system improvement opportunities. Ensures resolution policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed and establish a strong internal control environment in the RRP function. Deploy subject matter expertise in Recovery & Resolution to effectively assess, manage and report on risk. Ability to make effective decision making on complex matters. Strong organizational skills, with an ability to work in a dynamic situation with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines. Collaborate with various internal teams such as Risk, Compliance, Finance and Legal to gather necessary inputs for reporting and support review and challenge activities. Coach junior level team members to enhance leadership skills and subject matter expertise. Perform review and challenge and quality control of narrative components to promote alignment with requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent field. - Required.
  • 12+ Years Banking or Financial Services Industry or related field - Required.
  • 12+ Years Capital Management, Recovery and Resolution - Required.
  • Ability to lead, influence and direct peers, subordinates and Executive Management.
  • Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in interacting with regulators, executive management and vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer services skills required.
  • Ability to make effective decision making on complex matters.
  • Excellent analytical, organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Detail oriented with ability to research, organize and analyze financial data.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree: Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent field. - Preferred.
  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.
