Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Director of New Medicaid States will provide strategic leadership and technical direction for Medicaid state implementations and expansions. Thie role will drive end-to-end delivery for new state launches, system integrations, compliance, and ongoing support of Medicaid products and operations. The ideal candidate will partner with business, technology, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless execution of Medicaid initiatives and high-quality member experiences, paying special attention to the nuanced contractual terms per state. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Strong understanding of Medicaid business processes, enrollment, eligibility, and claims systems. Experience with large-scale IT implementations, system integrations, and data migrations. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid). Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and enterprise platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, etc.). Working knowledge of data management, security, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST). Ability to analyze complex data sets and design solutions for interoperability and automation. Advanced proficiency with tools such as SQL, ETL, API integration, and reporting technologies. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead distributed teams and drive organizational change. Business Partnership: Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions that meet regulatory and business requirements. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strong controls related to data privacy, security, and compliance with applicable U.S. federal regulations. People Management: Manage team performance, including coaching, mentoring, and developing talent to ensure a high-performing, inclusive environment. Project Management: Ensure successful delivery of projects and ongoing operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and vendor relationships. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experience hiring and growing high performing teams 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including direct oversight of large, cross-functional teams. Proven track record of successful delivery of complex IT initiatives in a regulated environment. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. Experience in driving organizational change and integrating teams. Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and modern API frameworks Demonstrated expertise in member administration platforms and enterprise API management. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $172,200 - $236,900 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
