About The Position

The Director, Technology Delivery & Quality Assurance provides enterprise-level technology leadership and strategic accountability for Product Management, Program Delivery, and Quality Assurance across Store and Services platforms. Owns the multi-year product and delivery portfolio, including governance, financial stewardship, operating model design, and enterprise quality strategy. Partners with executive leadership to prioritize technology investments, mitigate risk, and ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that enable business growth and operational excellence across the retail footprint.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years progressive leadership experience within retail or enterprise technology organizations, including portfolio governance, enterprise financial planning, organizational leadership, and large-scale program delivery.
  • Experience with product team structure and Agile delivery.
  • Experience with program/project management for large, cross-functional programs.
  • Demonstrated an ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic team environment and possess time management skills in meeting critical deadlines
  • A customer-first mind-set with strong focus on developing the best and more innovative customer experiences (internal or external customers)
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Deep business, technology, process, and change management skills
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate complex business, system & process opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Product Portfolio Management: Owns the Stores & Services technology portfolio, including product vision, multi-year roadmap development, investment prioritization, total cost of ownership optimization, and value realization. Accountable for enterprise architecture alignment, cybersecurity compliance, and measurable ROI.
  • Program & Transformation Governance: Leads enterprise-wide, cross-functional transformation programs impacting store and services operations. Establishes delivery governance, capital and operating forecasts, risk mitigation frameworks, and executive steering committees. Accountable for portfolio performance across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Defines and governs enterprise quality engineering standards and QA operating model. Leads automation strategy, risk-based testing frameworks, release governance, and regulatory compliance oversight. Accountable for production stability, defect reduction, and enterprise quality KPIs.
  • Financial & Resource Stewardship: Develops and manages capital and operating budgets aligned to long-range planning. Oversees vendor strategy, contract governance, and resource capacity planning. Optimizes investment allocation to balance innovation, stability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Executive Partnership & Strategic Advisory: Serves as a strategic advisor to senior business and technology leaders. Evaluates modernization strategy, platform rationalization, digital enablement initiatives, operational resiliency, and enterprise risk posture. Influences executive decision-making and technology investment trade-offs.
  • Organizational Leadership: Leads and develops a multi-disciplinary organization of managers and senior professionals. Defines organizational design, workforce strategy, succession planning, and capability maturity roadmap. Drives performance culture aligned to enterprise technology objectives and long-range planning.
