About The Position

Drive the day-to-day execution of LIV Golf’s league-wide social media presence by leading publishing operations, guiding platform specialists, and delivering high-quality, platform-native content that grows audience, engagement, and cultural relevance across all major social channels.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in social media management or digital content for a sports, entertainment, or media brand.
  • Proven track record managing a small team or direct reports.
  • Deep knowledge of short-form video and platform algorithms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Skilled in content planning, caption writing, and cross-platform publishing tools.
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and event-based schedules during tournaments.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, and digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the strategy and daily content calendar, ensuring timely publishing across all of LIV’s Teams social channels.
  • Collaborate with a team of Social Media Specialists and agency partners across our Teams ecosystem, providing creative feedback and prioritizing daily deliverables.
  • Oversee platform-specific optimization for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
  • Collaborate with the Video, Design, and Marketing teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact creative.
  • Translate campaign briefs and event priorities into actionable content plans, aligning with Team objectives.
  • Lead content capture and publishing during tournaments, balancing real-time coverage and storytelling.
  • Ensure all social assets maintain brand tone, visual standards, and platform best practices.
  • Experiment with new creative formats, storytelling styles, and emerging social tools.
  • Analyze post and platform performance to guide strategy and creative adjustments.
  • Share insights and recommendations with the Director of Content and leadership team.
  • Identify growth opportunities for audience, engagement, and watch time.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Comms, Events, and LIV Studios to align social output with broader league campaigns.
  • Manage daily workflows, approvals, and publishing processes with precision and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior team members and help foster a culture of creative excellence and accountability.
