About The Position

The Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading all site-level supply chain operations to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of products to customers. This role oversees planning, buying, warehousing, logistics, and materials management while aligning with corporate supply chain strategies. The Director will be a key member of the site leadership team, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field;
10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in contract manufacturing, healthcare, beauty, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries.
Proven experience in end-to-end supply chain management, including planning, procurement, and logistics.
Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, or cosmetic manufacturing regulations.
Experience implementing or optimizing ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements, cost reductions, and service enhancements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Possesses knowledge of manufacturing processes, planning and scheduling techniques.
Possess experience and knowledge of materials management. Advanced computer skills and literacy
MRP/ ERP and forecast programs - NetSuite a plus
Microsoft Office with Expertise in Excel

Responsibilities

Lead the site's end-to-end supply chain organization, including planning, procurement, materials management, warehouse, and logistics functions.
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, profitability, and customer service objectives.
Serve as a key business partner to Operations, Quality, R&D, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on production priorities and project timelines.
Oversee Master Production Scheduling (MPS), capacity planning, and materials requirements planning (MRP) to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, balancing service levels with working capital goals.
Monitor and improve forecasting accuracy and demand planning processes in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse operations, and distribution to customers or brand owners.
Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements for materials storage and transportation.
Implement best practices in warehouse management, material flow, and space utilization.
Develop KPIs to track and improve supply chain performance (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, supplier OTIF, cost savings).
Lead Site SIOP Process
Lead or participate in Lean/Six Sigma and digital transformation initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Drive process standardization and ERP system optimization.
Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing supply chain team.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
