About The Position

The Director, Supply Chain Facilities is the business owner of the Brooks Brothers Logistics Center, leading a complex, omni-channel distribution operation supporting retail, wholesale, e-commerce. This role operates in a high-variability environment characterized by omni-channel distribution complexity, significant peak season volatility, program-driven volume swings, automation and systems integration, and diverse retail and wholesale compliance requirements. The Director is accountable for service performance, cost per unit, productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, and peak readiness. This is a leadership role requiring operational rigor, transformation mindset, and cross-functional influence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in complex, high-volume distribution center environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading leaders and scaling operations through growth and transformation.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Experience leading automation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end facility performance including service level, cost per unit, productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, and quality.
  • Deliver consistent in-store date and customer promise performance across all channels.
  • Lead annual budget development, forecasting, and cost management aligned to divisional profit objectives.
  • Drive productivity improvements through labor planning and engineering partnership.
  • Ensure peak readiness and scalability during high-volume events and program launches.
  • Lead operational transformation initiatives including process redesign, systems enhancements, and automation optimization.
  • Partner with Engineering team to improve throughput, slotting, labor standards, and facility layout.
  • Champion continuous improvement and root cause discipline across service, cost, and inventory accuracy.
  • Drive fact-based decision-making using KPIs and operational analytics.
  • Influence upstream decisions in Planning, Merchandising, Finance, IT, and Transportation to ensure operational feasibility and cost alignment.
  • Proactively elevate risks and opportunities impacting service and expense structure.
  • Collaborate with Finance on cost modeling and forecasting.
  • Partner with Transportation to optimize carrier performance for inbound and outbound flow.
  • Lead leaders and develop a strong operations management team with clear accountability.
  • Build succession plans and bench strength within the facility.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, safety, and customer-first execution.
  • Protect company assets through strong controls across HR, safety, inventory, and equipment management.
