About The Position

Peloton’s Content Production Technology & Operations Department, comprising our production operations, studio operations, broadcast technology, creative services, and content platform teams work to deliver a broad offering of highly engaging subscription content to our members. We are a highly collaborative and fast paced department that focuses on delivering and evolving our innovative content programming. Peloton is seeking an accomplished Director, Production and Studio Operator to oversee day-to-day technical and studio operations across our major content production facilities in New York and London. This leader will manage core production and studio functions, ensure operational excellence, and drive innovation in partnership with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge, exceptional operational skills, and a forward-looking mindset to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability in production workflows.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in production operations, including live studio and control room environments.
  • Proven experience managing multi-location technical operations teams and facilities in live broadcast environments
  • Experience managing both Operational and Capital budgets, including long range planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of live broadcast and digital production systems, workflows, and technology trends
  • Track record of optimizing operational efficiency through scheduling, process improvements, and technology adoption
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build strong partnerships across creative, engineering, and operations teams
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment while maintaining high production standards

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production and studio operations across Peloton Studios New York and London, inclusive of multi-skilled control room operators, operations managers, stagehands, and hardware technicians.
  • Manage technical operations functions for live and “live to tape” studio production across multiple studios.
  • Develop, oversee, and implement strategies and SOPs related to production operations including all aspects of Control Rooms and back of house studio operations.
  • Partner closely with post production, creative services, and media operations teams to ensure seamless execution of live and pre-recorded shows
  • Collaborate with broadcast engineering to ensure consistently reliable production systems and rapid issue resolution
  • Drive adoption of new production technologies and workflows to enhance quality, reduce marginal costs, and enable new creative opportunities
  • Develop and improve global operations standards for production and studio operations teams and ensures adherence to such standards
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across production teams
