About The Position

The Director Strategy & Operations Lead, will lead the Marketing Excellence agenda to accelerate and deliver comprehensive business support to the Integrated Media & Engagement Team (IM&ET), working to maximize the performance and impact of the business. This role will anticipate, identify, understand, engage in, and drive effective prioritization of opportunities across the business and ensure resolution and implementation in a timely and effective manner. As a member of the Integrated Media & Engagement Team leadership team, he/she will provide strategic partnership and thought leadership to enhance goal clarity and alignment of activities between key internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred
  • B/A with at least 8 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 7 years of experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence without direct authority
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into actionable strategic insights
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and making complex decisions quickly
  • Strong communication skills, including presentations, PowerPoint/written, and meeting facilitation; ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage senior leadership
  • Excellence in driving highly collaborative and productive cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Drive planning, operational and project management support members of the Leadership Team to achieve goals; prepare and provide materials and drafts of deliverables ensure key projects are completed in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Partner with the leadership team to develop, enable and implement overarching strategic agenda and priorities through business strategies, operational plans and key business projects.
  • Develop strong understanding of Integrated Media & Engagement capabilities, strategy and pipeline, and actively leverage this knowledge to inform priorities.
  • Lead as a culture champion igniting collaboration and inclusivity amongst the organization by amplifying value-drive initiatives.
  • Responsible for end to end fit for purpose governance planning/execution including coordination of semester goals and partnership with the leadership to advance goals.
  • Lead and/or provide strategic direction for project teams on critical initiatives including continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Lead planning meeting governance and execution of communication needs of cross-functional meetings.
  • Manage and track follow-up activities as appropriate to ensure implementation.
  • Partner with and engage key internal stakeholders to support operating plan.
  • Drive alignment of efforts across the leadership team: identifying, sharing and implementing best practices, ensuring consistency in over-arching processes and systems, and developing partnerships with key colleagues in other functional areas ensuring ongoing alignment of goals and strategies
  • Drive the compilation of strategic documents and presentations in collaboration with other partners (e.g. quarterly business review).
  • Enhance digital adaptation of technologies: foster innovation by embedding digital adaptation and building strategy
