About The Position

The Strategic Partnerships Group is currently seeking a Sales Director based out of our New York office. The Strategic Partnership Group (SPG) team manages our third-party relationships that distribute Fitch content within their applications to service our clients. This is a global team that applies various business models to meet our strategic objectives. Fitch Solutions is a leading provider of insights, data and analytics. Requirements

  • 5-7 Years' experience in Partnership and Channel Sales where one has developed strong relationships with key Vendors and Partners at a senior level within your territory
  • Highly developed strategic sales and negotiation skills
  • Results-orientated, with a track record of success
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as outstanding presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Strong existing senior relationship within the Strategic Partner ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of the broad debt and credit markets
  • Team orientated, with ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Director will work with many organizations including the major information vendors, data aggregators, software companies, solutions providers and a wide variety of information and market intermediaries
  • The primary focus is to maintain existing and develop new distributor relationships across the North America territory
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships
  • To be viewed as an industry expert by your peers and your customer relationships
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements and multiple short and long-term projects
  • Developing a strategic plan for your territory
