Let's change the game together! We’re looking for a Director, Strategic Marketing & Brand to lead the execution and operationalization of our brand, content, creative, and communications efforts. This role is responsible for translating Axonify’s product marketing strategy and company direction into high-impact brand assets, launch programs, and communications that support revenue growth and market credibility. The Director of Brand ensures that what Axonify says, and how it shows up, is clear, consistent, and effective, without redefining the strategy itself. This is a hands-on leadership role for an operator who excels at prioritization, sequencing, and delivery. You will lead the brand engine that turns strategy into action, partnering closely with Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Enablement, and Sales.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with depth in brand execution, content operations, or communications.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale content, design, and communications teams in a growth environment.
  • Strong operational instincts — able to prioritize, sequence work, and deliver under pressure.
  • Experience supporting product launches and revenue-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including experience partnering with Product Marketing and Sales.
  • Strong editorial judgment and creative sensibility, with a bias toward clarity and impact over volume.

Responsibilities

  • Brand & Narrative Leadership
  • Execute and maintain Axonify’s brand strategy, messaging, and narrative as defined by Product Marketing and company leadership.
  • Ensure Axonify’s voice and visual identity are consistently activated across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Maintain and evolve brand systems, style guides, and creative frameworks to support scale and speed.
  • Ensure brand presence reflects Axonify’s category position and value proposition accurately and consistently.
  • Content, Creative & Storytelling
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning content, design, and communications.
  • Own the brand and content backlog, prioritization, and delivery cadence.
  • Oversee production of high-quality assets that support product launches, sales enablement, demand generation, and customer advocacy.
  • Drive efficiency and throughput across the brand engine through strong planning and workflow management.
  • Communications & PR
  • Manage external communications execution, including product and company announcements, press releases and launch communications, and analyst briefing preparation and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with external agencies as needed to support launches and moments of amplification.
  • Support executive communications by developing clear, aligned messaging and FAQs.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner closely with:
  • Product Marketing (strategy, positioning, launch direction)
  • Performance Marketing (campaign execution and scale)
  • Enablement (sales readiness and asset adoption)
  • Sales and Customer teams (proof, references, and field storytelling)
  • Provide brand and creative support for product-assisted demand experiences and digital exploration journeys.
  • Ensure brand execution supports revenue priorities without creating competing narratives.
  • Leadership & Operations
  • Manage, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of clarity, accountability, and high performance.
  • Establish and track KPIs related to brand execution, content effectiveness, and launch readiness.
  • Regularly report progress, risks, and outcomes to Marketing leadership.
  • Drive adoption of tools and AI-enabled workflows that improve content and creative efficiency.
