The Opportunity The Director, Strategic Development is a key leader driving a core, association‑wide initiative to develop a home and auto ecosystem experience for our members. This role works horizontally across execution teams, user experience, and many stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact, while also leading a dedicated team responsible for delivering high‑value outcomes that enhance member experience and create new revenue opportunities. As a dedicated Director, Digital / Technical Product Management, you will lead teams of Digital or Technology Product Managers responsible for the strategy, ideation, definition, development and performance of digital and technology products and their experiences for USAA and its members. Oversee highly complex or strategic initiatives typically requiring confidentiality and enterprise-level visibility. Collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders to lead a team responsible for tackling complex and challenging problems while maintaining situational awareness of the market in order to maximize the product portfolio. Focuses on the operational effectiveness, goals, and performance of the team and their products or product line (or set of product experiences), ensuring strategic alignment within a product portfolio. This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office will be expected to work on-site four days per week.
