About The Position

AWS helps organizations of every type, size, and industry innovate and transform their business in new and exciting ways. As a Director within AWS Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for building the strategy and sales motions for Adobe, one of AWS's most advanced customers. In this influential role, you will lead, build, and develop a skilled team who will execute the strategy to increase the adoption of AWS with Adobe. You will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. You will drive engagements at the C-Suite level across both organizations, up to an including CEO engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact at the intersection of business strategy and innovative technology, working with one of AWS's most advanced customers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct field experience working with enterprise accounts, developing and executing strategies using multiple types of resources (Professional, Solutions Architects, Training, Partners) selling technology solutions
  • 10+ years of global leadership experience, proven people management, and experience leading large, diverse teams
  • Experience negotiating large contracts, coordinating closely with legal counsel and executives
  • Experience forecasting and territory management, as well as sales planning and sales operations with a track record of exceeding revenue quota and new customer adoption goals

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Strategic Accounts plan that will delight our customers
  • Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in strategic accounts
  • Drive engagements at the CXO level as well as with Line of Business Leaders across complex organizations
  • Create, articulate, and train the team on compelling value propositions around AWS to accelerate customer adoption
  • Work with partners (System Integration Partners, Channel Partners, Network Providers, and Independent Software Vendors) to extend reach and drive adoption
  • Serve as a key member of the Americas leadership team in helping to define and deliver the overall strategy and programs
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team
