About The Position

This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity to shape and execute global advisory board and congress initiatives across multiple regions, including the U.S., EU, and APAC. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Research, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities. The position requires a balance of operational excellence, strategic thinking, and compliance expertise, with responsibility for budgets, vendors, and governance processes. You will define advisory board agendas, drive scientific engagement, and integrate insights to influence broader Medical Affairs strategies. Success in this role will be measured by impactful stakeholder engagement, seamless execution of global events, and the ability to enhance organizational influence in the oncology field.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MS, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) in life sciences.
  • 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within biotech or pharmaceutical organizations, with 5+ years in global congress strategy and operations.
  • Proven track record in leading global and regional advisory boards across multiple geographies.
  • Strong knowledge of the oncology therapeutic landscape, especially pancreatic, non-small cell lung, and colorectal cancers.
  • Deep understanding of compliance standards governing global congresses and scientific exchange.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and vendor/budget management skills.

  • Experience in early/late-phase development, product launch preparation, and leadership of global advisory board strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global advisory board strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with Medical Affairs priorities and global congress planning.
  • Develop and implement compliant processes for advisory board execution, insight sharing, and operational governance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design impactful advisory board agendas and content aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee logistical planning, vendor management, and budget tracking for advisory boards and related activities.
  • Contribute to global congress planning and execution, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of scientific programs and events.
  • Act as a central point of coordination for cross-functional teams, aligning priorities, deliverables, and messaging.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, best practices, and governance processes to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
