About The Position

The Ontario Tower Buzzers are a brand new Minor League Baseball team and Single A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, launching in April 2026 at ONT Field. We are building this from scratch. Not just a baseball team, but a true community asset for Ontario and the Inland Empire. We are a startup with big league expectations. Position Overview: The Director of Stadium Operations will oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and day to day operations of ONT Field. This role is responsible for stadium maintenance, clean up, ballpark operations, parking, and clubhouse operations, and will oversee the relationship between the club and our venue manager, Legends Global, to ensure everything is executed at our level of expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required)
  • 5 years’ experience maintaining a venue or facility
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to safely operate equipment
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and professionally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment (Standing continuously for multiple hours, as well as walking up and down stairs)
  • Must complete a successful background check
  • Must be able to work outdoor events on evenings, weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with some small engine equipment is a plus (leaf blower, pressure washer, lawn mower, weed eater, etc.)
  • Painting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight of stadium maintenance and day to day operations at ONT Field
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Legends Global to ensure operational execution meets agreed upon service levels and performance standards
  • Partner with DBH’s Senior Director, Stadium Operations & Event Services to provide consistent, efficient, and superior facilities management
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget for annual stadium expenses
  • Strive to complete repairs and maintenance in-house when applicable
  • Attain high-level knowledge and adhere to all MLB PDL compliance regulations
  • Ensure ONT Field is in compliance with MLB’s PDL
  • Support operations of all Los Angeles Dodgers and ONT Field facility events including event and game-day setup, customer service, ticket taking, parking, security, field maintenance, and other operations as needed around the stadium
  • Oversee the parking operations and traffic management plans with Legends Global Operations personnel managed by Legends Global
  • Attain a deep knowledge of the ballpark and its amenities, and be able to direct fans accordingly
  • Ensure security and safety of patrons and co-workers at ONT Field at all times.
  • Develop & execute a Risk Management Safety Plan, work with Legends Global, Police Officers, Fire/Medical personnel, and County officials when necessary to secure the ballpark
  • Represent the Ontario Tower Buzzers and Los Angeles Dodgers brand in a professional and positive manner both inside & outside the ballpark
