This team monitors controls and seller activities, enforces compliance policies, and collaborates across departments to mitigate risks and protect customers. Leveraging data-driven insights and strategic partnerships, the team upholds marketplace integrity through transparency and trust. Members actively contribute to continuous improvement and compliance risk management, supporting Walmart’s commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory adherence while promoting accountability and operational excellence throughout the organization. The Director, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - Seller Lifecycle leads the development and execution of compliance strategies across the seller lifecycle within our marketplace ecosystem to ensure adherence to evolving regulatory requirements. The person in this role ensures that sellers meet regulatory, ethical, and operational standards throughout the seller’s lifecycle through ongoing monitoring. This person directs policy creation, risk mitigation, and training initiatives while collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders to address compliance gaps. By leveraging industry best practices and data analysis, the Director will bring deep expertise in compliance, risk management, and marketplace operations. This person leads talent development and cross-functional alignment.
