About The Position

In this role, the successful candidate will focus on leading and optimizing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, with a strong focus on front-end governance, PR/PO compliance, and stakeholder engagement. This role drives adoption, accountability, and process excellence across sourcing, requisitioning, purchasing, contracting and invoice enablement. The Director drives operational excellence, standardization, and digital transformation across procurement operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and value realization. In partnership with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, this role leads transformation initiatives that enhance systems, improve supplier engagement, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions, advancing standardization, digital enablement, and operational performance across the S2I lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA or further advanced degree is desirable
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in procurement, vendor management, procurement operations, or vendor enablement leadership
  • Strong expertise in SAP Ariba (Vendor Management, Sourcing, Contracts, or Procure-to-Pay modules)
  • Experience leading global vendor onboarding or digital enablement programs
  • Advanced analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change through data
  • Experience with leading cross-functional teams effectively, and rolling out enterprise initiatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives
  • Identify and drive change and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs and priorities
  • Strong process & project management experience
  • Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment, including extended periods of computer use and operation of typical office equipment

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise Source-to-Invoice lifecycle strategy aligned with organizational objectives
  • Lead end-to-end S2I operations, including sourcing support, contracting enablement, requisitioning, purchasing, and invoice enablement
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and improve accuracy
  • Oversee procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba), ensuring optimal configuration, adoption, and performance
  • Partner with IT and Finance to deliver digital transformation initiatives, including automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance, compliance, and value delivery
  • Lead supplier onboarding, enablement, and compliance programs to enhance supplier experience and data quality
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks across supplier and procurement processes
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and drive adoption of procurement best practices across the organization
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements
