About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Solutions Engineering to play a pivotal role in DriveWealth's growth and expansion by leading the API integration of new partners, educating on new products, and identifying processes that can be automated to optimize team and partner efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on the implementation or building of external APIs
  • 5+ years of experience leading and scaling technical pre-sales or solution engineering teams
  • Proficiency in full stack development, with working knowledge of cloud-based platform tools such as AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency in implementing event-based programs, working with tools such as Apache Kafka and AWS SQS
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple partner engagements concurrently
  • Proven problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to ensuring client success and satisfaction
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while taking ownership of client relationships

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Solutions Engineering organization
  • Partner with Sales and Growth teams to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Define and implement best practices, playbooks, and metrics to measure team effectiveness
  • Identify and implement process improvements that maximize time efficiency for DriveWealth employees and partners. Leverage prior experience to quickly identify and implement improvements in ServiceNow, Github, and other flows
  • Define and document repeatable processes, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability while maintaining a keen eye for detail and quality assurance
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, finance, product, technology, and operations, to develop cohesive strategies that prioritize partner success and drive revenue growth
  • Align closely with partners who will be integrating DriveWealths API. Use your robust programming knowledge to provide education, project management, and architecture support while maintaining positive partner relationships
  • Establish a culture of mutual accountability between the Relationship Management team and partners. Advocate for their needs and marshal resources to support them while aligning with DriveWealth's overarching vision
  • Use your debugging skills to identify pain points and reported bugs by partners while suggesting and introducing changes to our product team
