As a Director of Solutions Engineering in JFrog you will... Act as leader within Solution Engineering team/across larger organization Expand team's success Work with virtualization, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, APIs, VPNs), threat detection Micro segmentation, hybrid/cloud architectures/data automation (SD-WAN, IaC, Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift) Use DevOps tools (CI Server, SCM, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Chef/Ansible, Docker, Gradle, npm, Kubernetes) Work with agile development, DevSecOps (SCA, SAST, Vulnerability management/detection, runtime security), continuous integration (CI)/continuous delivery (CD) Define technical strategies to meet customers' DevSecOps needs/territory goals Develop/analyze metrics to analyze revenue, adoption, performance/individual performance Work with customers/community to build relationships Provide tracking/reporting metrics in Salesforce BI tools for efficiency/engagement Conduct roadmap discussions with customers Lead demo duties/demo staffing for tech conferences representing company Strategize/conduct executive briefings with C-level stakeholders Build business case from customers’ feedback to impact release management/feature requests Drive beta/pilot GTM/product incubation with selected customers Coach/oversee POCs, technical demo, sizing, technical reponse (RFP) for customers’ solutions Manage technical projects for efficiency Define each team member's development/enablement plan Establish goals for team; provide training/performance feedback Take disciplinary action if needed Build impactful set of activities (planning, engaging, analyzing) with Sales peers Support Marketing, Product, R&D teams Build/maintain groups' domain leadership with latest technology trends related to DevSecOps Engineering/landscape of CI/CD Technologies Hire, develop, lead high-performing team of solution experts, engineers, architects To be a Director of Solutions Engineering in JFrog you need... Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering plus 2 years experience Experience to include work with virtualization, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, APIs, VPNs), threat detection Micro segmentation, hybrid/cloud architectures/data automation (SD-WAN, IaC, Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift) Use DevOps tools (CI Server, SCM, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Chef/Ansible, Docker, Gradle, npm, Kubernetes)

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering plus 2 years experience
  • Experience to include work with virtualization, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, APIs, VPNs), threat detection Micro segmentation, hybrid/cloud architectures/data automation (SD-WAN, IaC, Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift)
  • Use DevOps tools (CI Server, SCM, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Chef/Ansible, Docker, Gradle, npm, Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

  • Work with agile development, DevSecOps (SCA, SAST, Vulnerability management/detection, runtime security), continuous integration (CI)/continuous delivery (CD)
  • Define technical strategies to meet customers' DevSecOps needs/territory goals
  • Develop/analyze metrics to analyze revenue, adoption, performance/individual performance
  • Work with customers/community to build relationships
  • Provide tracking/reporting metrics in Salesforce BI tools for efficiency/engagement
  • Conduct roadmap discussions with customers
  • Lead demo duties/demo staffing for tech conferences representing company
  • Strategize/conduct executive briefings with C-level stakeholders
  • Build business case from customers’ feedback to impact release management/feature requests
  • Drive beta/pilot GTM/product incubation with selected customers
  • Coach/oversee POCs, technical demo, sizing, technical reponse (RFP) for customers’ solutions
  • Manage technical projects for efficiency
  • Define each team member's development/enablement plan
  • Establish goals for team; provide training/performance feedback
  • Take disciplinary action if needed
  • Build impactful set of activities (planning, engaging, analyzing) with Sales peers
  • Support Marketing, Product, R&D teams
  • Build/maintain groups' domain leadership with latest technology trends related to DevSecOps Engineering/landscape of CI/CD Technologies
  • Hire, develop, lead high-performing team of solution experts, engineers, architects

Benefits

  • base salary is only one component of our compensation package. This position has a salary of $238,500.24.
  • Base salary will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
  • Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
  • This position also includes an equity package of restricted stock units (RSU).
  • In addition, JFrog employees are eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
