WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Risk, Analytics, Models, Pricing and PnL (RAMPP) group within QTS is looking to expand its Architecture team. The group provides risk, pricing and trade processing solutions to our Capital Markets business, and has numerous projects which require technology management and architectural governance. These projects vary in scale from individual business asks within a single application to enterprise-wide multi-year initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and driving solutions for functional architecture requirements and problems that arise in those projects, as well as assisting application teams in selecting the appropriate technologies and ensuring their solution design aligns to our broader architecture strategy. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Understand the Enterprise and QTS standard technologies and usage patterns, act as an SME on this for our application teams, and work with them on applying this to their systems. Identify need for common technical solutions; develop and problem solve them. Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are meeting both our architecture and business outcomes. Facilitate and lead design discussions in an objective fashion to bring groups to a shared agreement on architecture decisions. Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Monitor and control activities according to plan. Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required. Specific functional area of responsibility will be the scope of the Capital Markets Strategic Funding Program. This covers unsecured funds raising, funds transfer pricing, asset/liability tenorization and reporting and interest rate risk calculation and management WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: 15+ years total professional experience in a senior developer and/or architect role, with 5+ minimum in architecture 10+ years financial services industry experience, including 5+ years in global markets funding & liquidity. A deep understanding of technologies, and technical and functional architecture considerations. Particularly with respect to data strategy, cross-asset re-use, and separation of concerns. Track record of successfully driving agreement on design and effecting change; through a combination of SME expertise, collaboration and healthy challenge. Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project. Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities Nice-to-have : Detailed knowledge of securities (both Fixed Income and Equity) front and back office trade lifecycle processes and events. This Salary Range Does Not Include Other Elements Of Total Compensation, Including A Discretionary Bonus And Benefits Such As A 401(K) Program With Company-Matching Contributions; Health, Dental, Vision, Life And Disability Insurance; And Paid Time-Off Plan.
