We’re building a more open world. Join us. Director, Segment Marketing (CRM) We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. Since our travelers interact with us through our brands, we have a brand focus in our marketing, while leveraging the scale and efficiency we’ve built in functional expertise. Do you love travel and connecting with customers through engaging communications? Expedia Group is seeking a passionate and driven CRM professional to join our Traveler Engagement and Loyalty (TEaL) organization. As Director, Segment Marketing, you will be responsible for driving key business KPIs through strategic CRM marketing across email, push notifications, in-product placements, and landing pages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of CRM experience, ideally in e-commerce or online marketing
  • Proven ability to collaborate across Marketing, Analytics, Martech, Creative, and Finance teams
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing direct reports
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of managing complex, time-sensitive projects
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Jira, Tableau, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning, business casing, and optimal delivery of global CRM campaigns across Expedia, Hotels.com, and VRBO brands
  • Drive performance across key objectives including transactions, member retention, app downloads, sign-ups, product attach, and credit card applications
  • Identify and evaluate new program opportunities using traveler behavior, market trends, and data insights
  • Collaborate with MarTech and Data Science teams to develop machine learning models that deliver personalized content
  • Manage and mentor a team of 5–6 CRM experts, including people managers
  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to TEaL and broader segment marketing teams, including SVP-level stakeholders
  • Partner with Analytics and Data Science to uncover actionable insights and develop innovative campaigns that support Active Traveler goals
  • Represent TEaL in cross-functional initiatives, advising on loyalty program communications and offer strategies across current and future capabilities
