We're looking for a leader to build and lead PlanetScale’s Sales Development function to support a world class outbound motion and a systems driven approach to managing inbound pipeline as well as product led growth opportunities. What's the job to be done? Take on sales led pipeline generation while building the sales development function Build and scale an outstanding sales development team and maintain a constant high quality bar Partner with rev ops to build systems, processes and tooling to maximize opportunity qualification efficiency Drive prospect qualification and set Sales up for productive discovery sessions Partner with sales and marketing on strategies and tactics to generate pipeline in key named accounts Maintain strong reporting, forecast, accountability, and attainment against quota
