About The Position

Brillient Corporation is seeking an experienced and AI Native Director of SaaS Software Development to lead our software engineering teams ongoing build of scalable, secure, and innovative SaaS solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and proven leadership in developing high-performing development teams, enforcing discipline while encouraging creativity, and creating best in class AI based solution development processes across the entire product life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years of software development experience, with at least five (5) years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record in building and scaling Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
• Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS and GCP), microservices, and API-driven architecture.
• Experience with AI/ML integration in SaaS products.
• Experience with taking a solution through FedRAMP or StateRAMP and Federal and State compliance standards
• Familiarity with multi-tenant architecture and subscription billing systems.
• Strong understanding of the latest advancement in AI enabled development starting at user requirements, through design, development, testing, pipeline, and user acceptance and testing and how to best integrate into Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product and software development strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior developers to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of SaaS applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security employing the latest in agentic AI enablement.
• Collaborate with company leaders, Product Management, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in architecture, coding standards, and DevOps all in an next generation AI native lifecycle.
• Drive adoption of modern technologies, frameworks, and cloud-native solutions.
• Implement KPIs and metrics to measure team performance and product quality.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and relationships.
