About The Position

Ensure profitable revenue generation in accordance with agreed upon RxMS revenue targets by identifying new customers, reaching out to existing customers, and managing the sales process through the closure of orders. Track leads, quotes, time to close each order, and win rate and factor in this information into a probability-weighting monthly revenue model.  Size and segment market opportunities, identify unmet needs for these segments, and couple with new product development (NPD), engineering, and service to create future differentiated service offerings. Work with Avtron’s marketing group to ensure awareness, proper pricing, branding strategy and execution.

Requirements

  • Candidate should have at least 20 years of a proven track record of Technical Product & Service Sales.
  • Background in instrumentation used to assess power quality issues such as sags/surges, outages, and electrical grounding spanning installations ranging from data centers to medical centers.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Collaboration skills across multiple functions to achieve business/financial goals
  • Ability to drive change
  • Prioritization skills
  • A self-starter and quick learner
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  • Marketing and/or MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive RxMS revenue in accordance with monthly revenue targets by reaching out to existing customers  and identifying new customers and managing the sales process through the closure of orders.
  • Create a playbook (with detailed capture plans) to guide sales focus and cadence
  • Track leads, quotes, time to close each deal, and win rate
  • Integrate leads and activity into Hubspot or an internal database (TBD)
  • Develop a probability weighted new revenue pipeline (by month) to improve upon revenue forecasting  ability
  • Work closely with the leadership team to establish appropriate inventory and talent to capitalize upon  future growth opportunities
  • Align and coordinate sales activity with the greater Avtron team
  • Size and segment market opportunities (with growth rates for segment) for use in prioritization  of sales efforts
  • Identify unmet needs to these segments where Avtron/RxMS can deliver value-creating solutions
  • Tailor customized solutions for key customers within selected segments
  • Assist in developing and improving company mission, vision and direction, and demonstrate consistent commitment to increasing profitability, driving and ensuring customer focus and                developing a company of excellence.
  • Team with marketing to ensure awareness and proper pricing
  • Couple with global NPD, engineering, and service to create future differentiated product and service offerings
